Ride the Wave 50k - September 27, 2025

Race Information

Attention to all runners: THIS IS AN OPEN ROAD ULTRAMARATHON!

You will be traveling through the city on pedestrian paths and sidewalks, but you will encounter vehicular traffic throughout and must follow all pedestrian laws.

On Saturday, September 27, 2025 race through an urban style 50k running through the beautiful sights of Miami, Florida. You will be running through some of Miami's historical and scenic areas.

Runners will be allowed crews along the way. Crews are limited to one vehicle only per runner. There are no aid stations, only checkpoints. Ice water will be available at the limited checkpoints.

Runners will find their way to checkpoints by following their directional cards with step-by-step directions throughout the city to each checkpoint to receive their next batch of directions. The course map will not be available beforehand. Part of the challenge and uniqueness of this race will be to navigate the directions given and to successfully reach the next checkpoint for further directions on the course.

The first portion of the course map will be available on race morning before the race start.

The remainder of the course map will be given to runners and crew as they check in along the race between certain manned checkpoints that will be placed along the route.

Race check in and packet pick up - Friday 9/26 between 3:00pm - 7:00pm or race morning at start line.

There will be a race briefing for all runners and crew on Friday 9/26 at 6:30 pm. This meeting can be attended in person or virtually on the Miami 100 Ultramarathon Facebook page. This meeting is mandatory for any runner and crew that has not participated in a Miami Ultra Race Series beforehand. We will cover safety rules for runners and crew and how to use your directional cards and crew directions during the race.

Course time limit is now 12 hours.

Race day: Saturday, September 27, 2025

Start Time is 11:00am

Start Location To Be Announced Soon!

DISCLAIMER: This is an important reminder that the Ride the Wave 50k is a point-to-point race, and due to parking hour limitations at the start line, runners must either travel to the start line with their crew, carpool or be dropped off.  Do not leave your vehicle at the start line as the parking lot closes promptly at sundown, and your car will be towed.

Finish Line at Hero Martial Arts 17049 S. Dixie Hwy. Palmetto Bay, Fl 33157

This race will be limited to 50 runners.
